Operator, get me the millionaire boy wonder coder on the line!

I have been sitting on an idea for a while that I am DYING to get going. I haven’t attacked it yet because:
A) some of the technical aspects are far beyond my capabilities
B) It’s a pretty damn good idea and I don’t want to leak it to a theif
C) The coder that I would like to code the project it is multi-millionaire who I have come to find out has developed some very popular software that I’m sure many of you have used.
So how can I pitch a project that I am hugely passionate about to someone at this guys level and not come off as a dork?
Why don’t I pick someone else? Because I KNOW this guy is a total programming genius, a fellow musician and seems like the perfect guy for the job.

Mike,
I don’t claim to know the depth of your idea but…
You could create a plan similar to a business plan. I mean like really work on it and revise it until it is perfect. Present it as a proposal. Draft it in such a way that your chosen coder can’t resist the opportunity. ANd don’t forget the confidentiality agreement.
best wishes on your endeavors

Mike,
Get your ideas together and approach the guy!
The worst he can do is say no. And I’ll bet if he’s as good as you say, even a no will get you some good ideas, feedback, and maybe more.
