Hello Marketing Newbies!

Welcome to IMMikeMurphy.com   -  A Marketing Newbie Launchpad blog where I’ll share learnings of the world of internet marketing as learned with my marketing newbie partner Kate Fey and others we meet along the way.  You can check out Kate’s blog here  http://www.marketinglaunchpadblog.com/

I got the idea for the name ”marketing launchpad”  having trolled the Warrior forum for months, heard many teleseminars and read lots of articles and ebooks when I realized that a HUGE percentage of the people on the marketing forums we’re newbies that hadn’t taken the first steps toward marketing anything yet.  They needed a “launchpad” so to speak.

I put a quick post up regarding a newbie based project where we would all get together and decide on a course of action and then go through it step-by-step hopefully leading all participants from zero to making their first dollar online.

Kate was the first to take action and contact me with ideas so we took off with it.   The idea is that each participant will end up with their own site/product(s) so I’ll post everyones links below as I get them.

    Hi Mike, saw your post on the Warrior Forum, though I’m not a member, just a lurker! You summed up the truth and frustrations for a lot of people new to making money online. The amount of information available is overwhelming but it all seems to lack the critical stuff that helps us know how it ‘really works’. I’ve become more than a bit cynical of all the sales letters and ‘guru speak’ but nevertheless determined enough to keep plodding along with my own product/idea.

    I look foward to seeing how things go for you here on your blog and wish you every success.
