Raymond Aaron and James Schramko

Today I had the pleasure of meeting 2 new friends. One I had met online a while back and ave been working with and learning from for sometime. His name is James Schramko and he’s from Australia. James was in Toronto to meet up with Raymond Aaron and James and I made arrangements for me to pick him up at Raymond’s office, drive to the Toronto airport and hang out there for a bit.

It may seem ridiculous to some people that I would drive 3 hours to meet up with some dude I barely know, hang out and then drive 3 hours home but it was time very well spent. James is a total ninja when it comes to internet marketing and business in general. He always thinks 6 steps ahead and implements his ideas faster than ANYBODY I’ve ever even heard of.

Now I had met James when I went looking for a mentor that I could trust. I wanted to find someone that not only inspired me by achieving great things himself, but also was willing to share and allow us to help each other. James Shramko is that guy for sure. He’s already shared more valuable information than you can imagine and we’ve got some very cool stuff coming up that is going to blow peoples socks off.

When I got to Raymond’s office to pick James up, Raymond came out to say hello and he was SUPER nice. Now here is a guy that has been speaking live and teaching people how to manifest greatness and wealth in their lives 200 times per year for 20 years or something crazy like that.

Raymond co-authored the book “Chicken Soup for the Canadian Soul” so he gave me a signed copy of that as well as 3 CD’s from his Wealth Creator Source program which was very nice and unexpected.

I got a little peak into the multi-million dollar business of Raymond Aaron and in the next couple days, will be sharing something cool that I saw there.

Pretty big day for building relationships and I’ve got a lot to do in the next few days to add value to those new relationships.

I’ll end today’s blog post with a question/quote “In every relationship, you’d better be either adding value or getting value from it. If you’re not doing either…why are you in the relationship?”

Keys to rapid success – Having a mentor

In an effort to excel in as many areas of my life as I can, I’m getting a LOT better at separating the good from the garbage. It’s not always an easy task as garbage can be packaged in some very eye catching ways to make you believe it’s good.

Something that popped into my mind a while back was that this Internet Marketing journey could be sped up greatly if I was able to find a good mentor. A good mentor (by my definition anyway) must have at least these qualifications:

1) Have achieved a high level of success themselves
2) Be willing to teach and not just sell me something
3) Display traits that I admire (organization, able to systemize, driven)
4) realize the value that I will be able to give back to them

At long last, I think I have found that mentor. Now, I have been given a hand by MANY people in the past and I’m very grateful to each and every one of them.

The thing is, I am in a spot in my life where I really need to excel and FAST in order to keep a roof over my head and my family fed. That said, I needed a person who wouldn’t waste time splitting hairs with crap like “well, I’d help you but you ave nothing to give me…”

The mentor I’ve found is way smarter than that, He sees that I can be trained in many areas to do things the way he likes them. So, he gets some tasks done that he hasn’t got time to mess with and I get a quality education that I can put into practice IMMEDIATELY which should turn into traffic and earnings.

Needless to say, I am working VERY hard to impress this person and intend to far exceed his expectations. When all is said and done, I’ll have built another great relationship, I’ll promote his products (which actually won’t be hard because they are top quality) and any other high end marketer that wouldn’t give me the time of day will have missed out on a great opportunity.

The Clickbank Code

Isn’t it funny how pretty much EVERY internet marketing product that ever comes out is the greatest thing since sliced bread? I guess it’s not good sales technique to say “my product sucks but you won’t notice until long after the refund period has passed”.

I got thinking about how much it must stink to buy something and then realize that it sucked after you’d paid. Sure you could get a refund, but what a pain the butt that is.

My thinking is that it would be so much easier to just take a walk through these products and see what they’re all about before buying.

One of the hottest selling Internet Marketing packages out there right now is The Clickbank Code by Michael Jones.

Step By Step Internet Marketing

Isn’t it funny how things have different meaning to different people? One that REALLY get’s me as I learn all I can about internet marketing is “step-by-step”. Some of these folks are running very successful information marketing businesses and are making very healthy sums of money but what they consider to be “step-by-step” is a joke.

I had to do an exercise in English class in college where we got into groups and we had to write step by step instructions on how to chew gum. It was interesting to see how little details left out can mean so much. Do you like chewing gum with the wrapper on? I thought not.

I’ve seen the inside of some VERY expensive internet marketing products and training programs and it’s baffling to me how many holes were in some of them.

The general consensus is that most people who fail in internet marketing do so because they don’t take directed action and apply what was taught in the course material. I’m sure that happens VERY often.

On the other hand, I’m going to bat for the people who really do take action but are working with a flawed or incomplete product that leaves steps out which causes frustration and eventually failure for the user.

Am I going somewhere with this rant? You bet your boots! I’ve been talking to some of my mentors and am currently putting into action some of their lessons. There will be a step-by-step procedure drawn up when I’ve gone thru the steps myself and refined them.

When complete and you get it in your hot little hands, I want to see how many people we can get thru the program and what their results are.

Time Management for success

Wow,

Sometimes you come across something so simple and for a great price that you almost ignore it and write it off as a “too good to be true” kind of thing.

Now that my wife and I both work from home, it takes a TON of discipline and dedication to keep things organized and on track.

Having a 4 year old and an 8 month old in the house makes things extra crazy! Now that the 4 year old will be done junior kindergarten in a few weeks, we were just talk yesterday about how on earth we were going to manage out time and grow our businesses.

Today I stumbled upon a sweet little application that allows you to plan and track your day and so far it seems awesome.

10 Ways to Make $10K per month

Jimmy D Brown has put out a report on 10 different ways you can make $10,000 per month. I’d be interested to see what method people like and how they do with the chosen method.

Naturally, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses so some of the methods may not interest you but with 10 listed in the report, there should be AT LEAST one that you enjoy and can run with. Heck, do more than one and pocket many $10g’s per month.

BUT…never, NEVER, EVER try more than one of these methods at once! Get one going and run it as far as you can and get it profitable before starting on a second method. This warning is for both you and I. We all tend to suffer from “shiny new thing” syndrome in Internet Marketing and I’m no exception.

I’m currently working on method #1 and will be posting here when it’s ready.
